Clare hurling manager Davy Fitzgerald has been admitted to hospital in Dublin amid health concerns.
According to RTE, the 44 year-old was admitted to a Galway clinic last night but was today transferred to a Dublin hospital.
There is no news as to the nature of the issue. During his time of the Waterford team back in 2009, he had stents inserted due to a blocked artery.
The news comes just days before Clare's All-Ireland quarter-final clash with Galway this Sunday. Fitzgerald helped guide Clare to League success this season and was involved in a trilogy of games with Waterford.
