Russell Westbrook starred as the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the New Orleans Pelicans 118-110 on Sunday.
Westbrook dropped 41 points as OKC edged a tight game which was tied 59-59 at half-time.

Oklahoma's star man bagged his 29th triple-double of the season and enjoyed a career-best 21 points in the final quarter to get his side over the line.
In all, he contributed 41 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists as OKC improved to 33-25 while New Orleans slid to 23-36.
Oklahoma host the Utah Jazz next time out while the Pelicans welcome Detroit.

Elsewhere, Chirs Paul led the charge as the LA Clippers beat the Charlotte Hornets 124-121. Paul offered up 17 assists while Blake Griffin bagged 43 points in a close win.

The Boston Celtics won 104-98 in Detroit; the Toronto Raptors beat the Portland Trailblazers 112-106; the Utah Jazz triumphed 102-92 over the Washington Wizards; the Memphis Grizzlies beat the Denver Nuggets 105-98; the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Phoenix Suns 100-96 while the San Antonio Spurs hammered the LA Lakers 119-98.
