On Sunday, legendary broadcaster Terry Wogan passed away, inspiring tributes from stars of TV and radio as well as the sporting world.
The BBC presenter, famed for his morning show Wake Up To Wogan and presenting the Eurovision song contest, was also a keen golfer, and back in 1981 he participated in a pro-am tournament featuring celebrities and professional golfers.
The competition was televised, and Wogan had the audacity to attempt a putt from 100 feet out. He struck it brilliantly, and the ball rolled into the hole, setting the record at the time for the longest televised putt ever.
