Ronnie O'Sullivan secured his place in the Welsh Open final last night with a 6-3 win over Joe Perry.
After both players shared the first four rounds, the three-time champion hit a 124 clearance to take the lead and followed it up with breaks of 94 and 88 to take a 5-2 lead before finishing it with a 78.
But it was in the third frame, when the Rocket produced a magical manoeuvre to sink an almost impossible shot that triggered a deserved round of applause in the audience.
That plant from @ronnieo147 in the third frame though... 🔥 #BVWelshOpenhttps://t.co/K2osTtbyO8
