Tampa Bay Ray's Richie Shaffer scored a home run with his first ever Major League hit against Chicago White Sox but with no team-mates rushing to greet him on that momentous occasion, he decided not to leave any imaginary high fives hanging until his colleagues dropped their pretence of ignoring him:
