With Conor McGregor clearly following proceedings live from his training camp in Iceland, tonight's UFC press conference went on without the UFC featherweight champion.
McGregor had been pulled from July's UFC200 rematch with Nate Diaz by the company after giving preference to his training schedule over the publicity tour.
Diaz was at tonight's press conference where UFC president Dana White insisted that he will not fight McGregor and will face another opponent.
"Everybody knows what's been going on with the main event for UFC 200. Nate Diaz will fight, and we're gonna find him a new opponent," said White.
But there was more than a hint that Diaz would much prefer to face the Dubliner, who he defeated last month in Las Vegas:

McGregor tweeted in during the press conference to which Diaz had a simple response:
Everyone flew in. Respect.
