While the Golden State Warriors made history last night by becoming the first team in history to record 73 wins in a regular season, it was a momentous night for another reason.
The remaining games of the NBA season have been a countdown to the farewell of L.A Lakers legend, Kobe Bryant.
He scored 60 points last night as the Lakers beat Utah Jazz.
"I'm more proud, not of the championships, but of the down years," he said during his speech last night.
"We didn't run. We got through all that stuff and won our Championships and we did it the right way. All I can do is thank you guys for all the years of support. Thank you all for the motivation and inspiration."
