Real Madrid and Wales star Gareth Bale is clearly a big fan of golf, and his Instagram account in isolation has proved it.
The 30-year-old has been ridiculed by fans of Los Blancos in the past, who have alleged he prefers playing golf to playing at the Bernabéu.
Bale even posed with a fan-made banner which read: ‘Wales, golf, Madrid, in that order’ after his national side side qualified for Euro 2020, which is now set to take place next year due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
This particular shot though has gone down well with his 43 million odd followers, and his premature celebration only adds to it.
Bale's love of golf has seen him get into a spot of bother in the past, with his club manager having to address it when questioned by the media.
Speaking in a press conference last year, Real boss Zinedine Zidane responded to reports that Bale had been photographed on the golf course when absent from training.
"I don't know anything about that. I've not seen the picture. I'm here. I'm here with my players, so I can't really say much about that," the Real Madrid manager said.
"I hope that he's working out well. We're here and we're thinking about the team that's here and all the players that are here.
"We'll see when we get back to Madrid. I won't tell him off or tell him he's not allowed to do it - he's old enough to do what he wants and he probably had his reasons.
"We'll see what happens and we'll see what he did in Madrid, but it's also his private life and it's not something I should judge. I think he trained well, so we'll see what happens."
Bale signed for the Spanish giants in 2013 for a world record fee of over €90 million (£77 million) and in that time has helped the team win four Champions League titles and a La Liga.
