The UFC's monumental event, UFC 200, took a massive blow this morning with news that interim light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones failed a drug test and as a result has been pulled from the main event.
Jones, 27, was scheduled to fight light-heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier in a title unification fight this Staurday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
However, with the news of the failed drug test, Brock Lesnar and Mark Hunt have been bumped up to the sole main-event.
Both Cormier and UFC President, Dana White, couldn't hide their disappointment at the news today and both looked visibly drained at the press conference announcing the news.
"I'm very disappointed,"Cormier said today, "I've worked very hard to prepare for this... You know, taking care of what you can take care of and that's what I did. More than anything I'm just really disappointed."
White described the withdrawal as "super disappointing" adding that it "sucks" for the fans who were booked and had travelled to attend the event.
This is the second time in the space of three scheduled fights that Jones has been cited for failing drugs tests.
