WATCH: Dallas Cowboys player pops his dislocated knee back into place

The Dallas Cowboys had a bad night last night as they were eliminated from the playoff picture by the New York Jets in a 19-16 loss.

Quarterback Matt Cassell in particular didn't have a very good time, getting called for intentional grounding on a throw that was actually picked off by the Jets defence, an extremely rare combination.

That lead to him getting the hook as Kellen Moore came in, but he didn't do much better, throwing two interceptions. He did however complete an inch perfect pass, only it was to a team-mate who was on the sidelines sitting down. Still, that's accuracy right there.

The Cowboys player who had the worst night was Byron Jones, who dislocated his knee on a play, only to end up popping it back in himself.

Speaking to the Dallas Morning News, he said "it just felt stuck for a little bit. I just straightened it out and it felt good. I didn't notice it was over to the side. I felt it stuck a little bit, so I just slowly straightened it and it just felt good from there".

The Cowboys are now mathematically out of the playoffs, while the Jets have won four in a row for the first time since 2010, so things are looking up for them.
