Overwhelming favourite for today's Melling Chase, Vautour, fell to open the door to God's Own today at Aintree.
The Willie Mullins trained gelding misjudged a jump over the ninth, despite looking comfortable travelling and led throughout.
However, after misjudging the flight of the jump crashed down to earth and opened up the field. Vautour went off as 1-5 favourite, but it was 10-1 shot Gods Own who finished strongest to claim victory.
