Tyron Woodley will defend his welterweight title for the third time in under a year next month when he takes on Demian Maia in Anaheim.
The 170lbs championship bout is the third title fight to be added to UFC 214 which will take place in California's Honda Centre on 29 July.
The card is headlined by Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones light heavyweight title bout and will also feature Cristiane Justino's first title fight in the promotion as she targets featherweight gold against Tonya Evinger.
Having already come through two five-round bouts against Stephen Thompson already during his reign as champion, Woodley will now come up against experience grappler Maia, who has won his last seven fights over the past three years, including a tight split decision victory over Jorge Masvidal in May.
Maia, who has three of these seven fights by submission, has also scored a victory over SBG's Gunnar Nelson back in 2015.
Ferguson, Missouri native Woodley dethroned Robbie Lawler last July to become the 170lbs king.
