Tiger Woods will make his US PGA Tour golf comeback in California later this month at the same venue where he played his last Tour event.
Woods will make his 2018 bow at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines, almost a year after missing the cut at the same tournament.
The 14-time major champion has won the event on seven occasions in his career while he also claimed his last major title - the 2008 US Open - at Torrey Pines.
Woods, 42, made a promising return to competitive action when played in the Bahamas in November, after a long time out with back problems.
The former world number one underwent a fourth surgery on his troublesome back last April before teeing up at the Hero World Challenge at the end of the year where he finished tied for ninth place on 9-under-par.
The Farmers Insurance Open begins on January 25 and he plans to follow that up by playing the Genesis Open at Riviera, which is run by the Tiger Woods Foundation, from February 15 in Pacific Palisades, California.
