Tiger Woods' agent Mark Steinberg has rubbished rumours that there is no clear timetable for the 14-time Major winner to return to tournament action.
A Twitter account belonging to "Secret Tour Pro", widely seen as golf's version of The Secret Footballer and golf journalist Robert Lusetich have both claimed in recent days that Woods won't be back on the course anytime soon.

I'm told #TigerWoods condition worsened. He can't move well; painful to sit. Sits in car with seat fully reclined. No forseeable return. Sad

The 40-year-old last played a competitive round in August last year when he finished tenth at the Wyndham Championships. That was his best finish of the year on the PGA Tour. Woods has twice had surgery on his back since that event.
Steinberg released a statement on Monday refuting the suggestions about Woods health. "The tweets that appeared this weekend about Tiger's health are ridiculous and absolutely false. It's reprehensible that every few months someone makes something up and it's treated like a real story. Tiger continues to work on his rehabilitation and we will have an accurate update at the appropriate time."
No date has been given about when Woods will return to action.
