Alan Kelly, Minister for the Environment, today offered his congratulations to the Irish cricket team after their memorable win over the West Indies, but he didn’t quite have his finger on the pulse of the nation with this one.
Hailing a “four point” win over the West Indies, Kelly was talking more GAA county final than cricket World Cup.

It was a four wicket win, of course, and the good people of Twitter were quick to let Kelly what they thought of his error.
