The co-main event at next weeks UFC Fight Night in the 3Arena has been called off due to an injury suffered by Stipe Miocic.
Miocic, who is ranked No.3 in the UFC Heavyweight Rankings was due to face No.7 ranked Ben Rothwell on October 24th in Dublin. The fight was the highlight of the night for non Irish fans. Joseph Duffy's clash with Dustin Poirier will still main event the show.
Gutted Sorry to the fans. Sorry to the @ufc sorry to @RothwellFighter I'll be back soon. But first I'd like to be able to put my socks on

The UFC have announced that a replacement fighter will be brought in to fight Rothwell, who is expected to be further down the rankings. Rothwell though has still been angling for a fight with Miocic once the injury is healed.
