Baseball is not the most popular of sports in Ireland so it's easy to understand Sheamus' pitching skills at a game in America.
The Dublin-born WWE Superstar was given the honour as Tampa Bay Rays faced local rivals, the Miami Marlins on Wednesday evening.
After letting his first pitch bounce before reaching home plate, Sheamus was given a second chance to impress the Tropicana Field crowd, and that's exactly what he did.

It was far from baseball fields Sheamus (Stephen Farrelly) was raised on, on Dublin's northside but he redeemed himself expertly. Surely there are not many Irish men or women who have been given the honour at a MLB game.
