Northern Ireland's Darren Clarke is not involved in the two final rounds, having missed the cut completely. He finished on 9-over after two rounds to finish nine shots outside the cut mark.
Meanwhile, Dunne's 65 was his best round of the tournament so far, having previously carded a 73 and 68 on Thursday and Friday respectively to sit on 1-under heading into today's action.
Birdies on the 1st and 2nd as well as the 9th saw a solid front nine score established, along with a bogey on the 6th.
His back nine was better with birdie on the 13th followed by a run of three consecutive birdies on the 16th, 17th and 18th holes. That meant that he picked up six shots overall on the day to rise up the leaderboard and leaves him in a tie for 17th.
