Outsider Rule the World has claimed the 2016 Aintree Grand National following an eventful show piece event.
Ridden by David Mullins and checking in at odds of 33/1, Rule the World managed to oust some of the fancied competition to take home the top prize.
8/1 joint favourite The Last Samurai followed home in second and he was soon followed by Vics Canvas, who came in at 100/1 before the race.
The victory means owner Michael O'Leary has now won the Grand National and the Gold Cup in a single season.
"I am going to give up after this!" he said after the race.
"It does not get better than this, Gold Cup and two Grand Nationals. This is the greatest prize of all. David gave him a masterful ride."
