Rory McIlroy lies two shots off the lead after the First Round of the Tour Championship in Atlanta.
Sweden's Henrik Stenson leads the field on -7 after shooting a round of 63 at East Lake. He leads by one shot from Paul Casey, with McIlroy and The Open champion Zach Johnson a shot further back on -4.
McIlroy has gone into the weeks event hoping to win the season ending FedEx Cup which guarantees a $10million bonus for the winner. To have any hope of winning the eight figure bonus, McIlroy needs to win the tournament and hope other results go his way.
A solitary second place finish is enough for Stenson to become only the second player to win the FedEx Cup more than once.
