Ronnie O'Sullivan remains one of sport's greatest enigmas.
The five-time World Champion is currently taking part in the Welsh Open in Cardiff where he won his first round game on Monday afternoon.
O'Sullivan looked on course during the final frame to record the 14th maximum break of his career, when he decided to play for the pink after potting the penultimate red.
O'Sullivan claimed afterwards that the £10,000 prize for the maximum break was "too cheap". World Snooker Chairman Barry Hearn told fans on Twitter that it was "a shame" for those in attendance not to see the maximum break.
