Rickie Fowler shoots a $1million hole-in-one for Ernie Els' Autism charity

Rickie Fowler hit one of the most important shots of his career on Monday night and it wasn't even in a tournament.

The 27-year-old shot a hole-in-one at a charity day for Ernie Els' Els for Autism charity. The shot earned $1million for the foundation.

Fowler was playing in the charity event with many top-class professionals including Els, Rory McIlroy, Luke Donald and Louis Oosthuizen. It was revealed after the shot that Fowler used one of Donald's clubs to take the shot.

The event took place away from the television cameras, but luckily one fan recorded the shot and Els' excellent reaction. The South African golfer created the charity in 2009 and opened a Centre of Excellence in Flordia last summer.

The four-time Major winner returns to the course this week at the Valspar Championship in Florida. Don't be surprised to see the South African near the top of the leaderboard after the massive boost his foundation received on Monday evening.
