Having recovered from a broken foot which ruled him out of his lightweight title fight with Conor McGregor, Rafael Dos Anjos will now face Eddie Alvarez for the title.
The fight will not be a pay-per-view event, in fact subscribers to UFC Fight Pass will be able to avail of the bout and will be held two days before UFC 200. The online UFC Fight Pass service will hold exclusive rights to the short card.

The following night will see women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk take on Claudia Gadelha during The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale.
The move is perhaps an attempt to boost the profile of Fight Pass, but Dos Anjos can feel aggrieved he does not make it to the UFC 200 card which features McGregor v Diaz II at welterweight and Frankie Edgar and Jose Aldo's title fight for the interim featherweight crown.
