UFC Lightweight Champion Rafael dos Anjos has revealed pictures of his broken foot after pulling out of his March 5th fight with Conor McGregor.
The Brazilian broke his foot in preparation for the fight and is scheduled to be out of action for at least four weeks. The delay means that the fight with McGregor may be postponed until UFC 200 in July.
Dos Anjos released pictures overnight on Facebook and Twitter of his broken and badly swollen left foot. The 31-year-old stated that the injury was part of a greater plan for the Brazilian.
"Sorry to all my real fans and UFC, I have 32 professional fights on my career and I never cancel any fight due to injuries, but it is a contact sport and injuries happen, I believe that God knows everything and he have a better plans for me."
