Paul Dunne's first year on the European Tour did not get off to the brightest start.
But that was nothing to do events on the golf course, but rather due to a bout of food poisoning which ended his SA Open chances.
That minor setback aside, Dunne is a man on the move, having earned his European Tour card via the European Tour qualifying school.
Tonight, the Greystones golfer who famously took last year's Open by storm while still an amateur joined Off The Ball's Joe Molloy to tell us how he's finding his first weeks on tour.
"There's a different kind of nerve," he said of the contrast between the Open 2015 and the qualifying school clincher and how having the Open experience behind him has helped him to handle nerves better.
Dunne also reminisced about his remarkable experience at St Andrew's last year.
"If I could pay money to go back and do it again, I would in a heartbeat," he said of that "incredible week".
