Jessica Ennis-Hill has dusted off the sexist comments made by Tyson Fury about her appearance, as she busily prepares for the upcoming Sports Personality of the Year awards.
Since being crowned the Boxing Heavyweight champion of the world, Tyson Fury has garnered a wave of negative focus, on account of his controversial statements about gender equality, abortion and homosexuality.
Speaking on BBC Radio 2 this week, Fury said:
'Homosexuality, abortion and paedophilia - them three things need to be accomplished before the world finishes. That's what the Bible tells me.'

In another interview, he spouted that women should confine themselves to the domestic roles of a household, and that their only place in boxing is on the outskirts on the ring.
'I believe a woman’s best place is in the kitchen. Making me a good cup of tea, that’s what I believe. I think they (women in boxing) are very nice when they’re walking around that ring holding them cards.'

And in relation to fellow SPOTY nominee Jessica Ennis-Hill, Tyson Fury weighed in with some colourful comments about the Olympic champion that sent his already depleting popularity levels, through the floor.
'That's the runner, isn't it? She's good, she's won quite a few medals, she slaps up good as well. When she's got a dress on she looks quite fit.'
Jessica Ennis-Hill has since responded to those statements in British media, and it appears that she is nonplussed by Fury's rant. Apart from worrying over what dress she's going to wear, she is still looking forward to attending the ceremony.

'No, I'm still really looking forward to it. I didn't go last year so I'm really looking forward to it. It's always a really nice evening getting to see a few people you haven't seen for a while and it should be great in Belfast. It's (the dress) something I'm stressing about because I've left it too late in the day but I am trying to find a dress and hopefully I'll look nice, yeah.'
