Nick Kyrgios has been handed a code violation following his defeat to Benoit Paire in the Japan Open.
The Australian launched into a foul mouthed tirade when he was broken in the third set and hit a ball against the roof to incur the violation.
The 20-year-old lost 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 to France’s Paire in the quarter-finals and commentators were forced to apologise to viewers when one of his four-letter expletives was picked up by on-court microphones.
With things not exactly going his way, Kyrgios also produced this shot which he will want to forget rather quickly:

Kyrgios had previously been in the spotlight after his comments to Stan Wawrinka during the Montreal Masters in August.
