NFL player is under investigation for barking at a dog

A NFL star is under police investigation for barking at a police dog after a game last weekend.

The Oakland Raiders linebacker Ray-Ray Armstrong has been questioned after allegedly taunting a police dog before their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers last weekend.

Taunting a police dog is seen as a third degree felony in Pennsylvania and Armstrong could face a maximum of seven years in prison and a $15,000 (€13,950 approx) fine.

Armstrong is alleged to have shouted "Hey dog, hey dog" to Bandit the dog before the Raiders 38-35 loss to the Steelers.

The 26 year old Florida native joined the St Louis Rams in 2014 before moving to the Raiders last year.
