There was remarkably large pile up of bicycles at a road race in Brooklyn, New York over the weekend, with a stalled motorbike the cause of the crash.
The Red Hook Crit finals saw a horrific crash with a number of cyclists getting caught up in the incident as the motorcyclist who was supposed to lead the field couldn't restart his bike.
The race was in full flow when cyclists turning a corner had to try and avoid the static motorbike, with the first few being able to do so, however, those following suffered a different fate.
A few people had to be taken to hospital after the crash, but none with life threatening injuries.
