An Irish man has died during a qualifier at the Isle of Man TT Races, organisers say.
33-year-old Alan Bonner was from Meath.
He was involved in a crash at the 33rd Milestone during the qualifying session for the race.
He made his course debut at the 2014 TT Races, and had a highest placed finish of 15th - which he achieved in 2015.
He finished 28th in the Superbike race last Sunday June 4th, winning a bronze replica.
He was the fastest ever TT rider from Ireland, with a lap of 127.090mph reached in 2015.
The organisers, ACU Events Ltd, say they wish to pass on their deepest sympathy to his partner, family and friends.
The race is an annual motorcycle event run on the Isle of Man since 1907.
