Rory McIlroy's participation for the WGC-HSBC Champions in China is in doubt due to a bout of food poisoning.
The World number three took to Twitter last night, where he said the sickness was caused by a dodgy Club Sandwich from room service in his hotel.

The four time major winner missed a sponsors event yesterday and this mornings Pro-Am as he tries to prepare for the event which is one of the biggest tournaments of the year. He spoke to Nick Dye about his illness and how his stomach is coping with the illness.He is due to tee off with the American duo of Rickie Fowler and Dustin Johnson at 2.45am Irish time tomorrow morning in Shanghai. Shane Lowry is also in action in China. He tees off with major winners Louis Oosthuizen and Adam Scott at 1.35am.
