McDowell looks for three in a row in Paris

Graeme McDowell begins the defence of the Open de France this afternoon in Paris. The former US Open champion has won the title two years in a row a Le Golf National.

The World Number 48, goes into this week's event looking for his first win since he last won at the 2018 Ryder Cup venue last year. A win this week for McDowell would see him become the first player to win the Open de France three years in a row since Marcel Dallemange completed the feat in 1938.

He tees off early this afternoon with Lee Westwood and home favourite Alexander Levy. The Portrush native spoke to Nick Dye yesterday afternoon ahead of the defence of his title.
