Manny Pacquiao could be in line to defend his WBO world welterweight title against a British fighter.
The 38-year-old posted on Twitter, that his camp are currently in talks with British fighter Amir Khan, just days after Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum dismissed rumours of the bout as 'total and complete bullshit.'

Khan has also confirmed that his representatives are negotiating a fight proposal with the eight-division world champion, and his former training partner.

ESPN reports that Arum previously brokered a deal for Pacquiao to defend his belt against Australia's Jeff Horn in Brisbane.
But after consultations with adviser Michael Koncz, the Filipino indicated that he wanted to have his next fight in the United Arab Emirates.
Arum however, remains unconvinced that Khan's camp will be able to generate the money needed to land the fight.
"Manny seems to believe they will come up with the money. I have some reservations whether it will happen or not. If the money comes up, I will aid and abet the fight happening. But right now, I'm holding my powder. I don't really know."
Khan has tried several times in the past to secure a fight against Pacquiao and came close on a few occasions.
His last competitive outing was last May, when he climbed two weight classes to contest the middleweight world title against then champion Canelo Alvarez.
The fight was stopped in the sixth round, after Khan suffered a brutal knock-out.
Pacquiao retired in April, but announced his return three months later and later fought, and defeated reigning WBO welterweight champion Jessie Vargas.
