If you have a fear of flying, then you will never want to be seated next to Shane Lowry on a plane.
That's what we discovered in an interview published in today's Sunday Independent, in which Paul Kimmage talks to Lowry and Padraig Harrington across a two-page spread.
The interview begins with an interesting conversation about movies and shockingly, Padraig Harrington confesses that he doesn't like the Quentin Tarantino classic Reservoir Dogs.
Don't judge him too harshly for the comment, and comfort yourself with a look at this clip from the movie.
They also discuss politics and wealth among other things.
One particular anecdote that pops up during the chat, perfectly illustrates Shane Lowry's inclination to act the pup on occasion.
Harrington is talking about the benefits of positive thinking in sport, when he tells Kimmage about a flight he and Lowry were both on which experienced some turbulence.
It paved the way for Lowry to have a bit of fun at the expense of someone's fear of flying.
PH: "We hit some turbulence on the flight down here last night and there was a woman and she was very nervous, gripping the arm rests. So I'm there, making things up and trying to talk her through it."
SL: (smiles) "He was trying to get her to think positively."
PH: "I spent at least 10 minutes trying to calm her down, saying: 'Turbulence has never, ever taken a plane down.'
SL: "And I said: 'There's a first time for everything.'"
PH: "I wanted to strangle him."
