Journalist Sean McGoldrick joined Joe Molly on 'Off the Ball' earlier to discuss Andy Lee's title fight loss to Billy Joe Saunders last night.
On a disappointing night for the Irish boxer, McGoldrick felt that Lee Saunders was the deserved winner and that Lee never really troubled him.
"He never looked in danger of being knocked out, he looked comfortable throughout."
McGoldrick added that Lee recovered well from his third round knock down to make a fight of it and "he deserved credit for it".
Speaking about the likelihood of a rematch, he said;
"Being realistic I think its unlikely, I know Lee has tweeted again today he would love a rematch the fact that it was a split decision you might say he deserves it.
"But if you look at it from Saunders point of view he has everything to lose, he is talking about a reunification fight."
"The other problem is the fight is very hard to sell."
