Social media regularly brings together people from different backgrounds, but on Saturday night the worlds of hip-hop and golf collided in a way nobody would ever expect.
Four-time Grammy winner Lil Wayne took to Twitter to praise Tom Watson as the 66-year-old was completing his final round at Augusta National on Friday evening. Watson missed the cut by two-shots.

On Saturday evening, Watson responded to Lil Wayne by revealing he hoped to make it one of the 33-year-old's concerts soon to give him a "standing O".

Watson competed in his final major this week, 46 years after making his debut in the tournament where he missed the cut. The former American Ryder Cup captain won two green jackets in 1977 and 1981. Between 1975 and 1991, Watson finished outside the top-15 only once at The Masters.
