Three time Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton has revealed some of the music he hopes to release in the future on American television.
The 30-year-old was appearing on the CBS show 60 Minutes when he showed host Charlie Rose some of the music he has recorded. The interview hears clips from "J'Adore" and "Lookin' at You".
“Music has been a huge passion of mine since I was really young,” Hamilton revealed. “I started playing guitar when I was 13. In here, I can be me, I can be vulnerable. I can show a side to me that people don’t get to see."
Hamilton admitted to Rose in the interview that music is beginning to take up a bigger chunk in his life. “The plan has always been just as a hobby but it’s got to a point now where it’s very serious and we spend a lot of time in here. If I’m not training and getting ready for the race, I’m here".
The World Champion played "Lookin' at You" for Rose, which he claimed nobody has ever heard. He added that he wants his fans to be able to hear his musical efforts. "I want to share it with them, I want to see what they think, and my work ethic is exactly the same here as it when I'm on the racetrack. But it’s just here I can be me".
