Ken Doherty goes into day two of his Round Three World Championship Qualifying match with the slenderest of leads.
The 1997 World Champion leads Wales' Ryan Day 5-4 in the first-to-ten match in Sheffield. If Doherty wins, he will compete in his twentieth World Championships in The Crucible.

Day went into the match as the favourite having narrowly missed out of qualifying for the tournament automatically. He is ranked 32 places higher than Doherty in the World rankings.
Ding Junhui is among the players looking to book their place in the First Round proper. The Chinese star goes into his second session with an 8-1 lead over Nigel Bond. In the previous two rounds, Junhui had only lost a combined five frames.
Doherty returns to action on Wednesday evening at 5pm. If he beats Day, the Dubliner will be in Thursday's draw for the tournament that begins on Saturday.
