Eddie Jordan believes Mercedes F1 team-mates Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton are acting like "two spoilt children in a family letting them do what they want to do" after the duo clashed yet again this season.
Tension have been seething between title rivals Hamilton and Rosberg as the season has progressed and despite threats of eruptions, things finally exploded in a second lap collision at Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix.
Rosberg made an ill-advised overtake attempt on Hamilton which culminated in his front wing puncturing the Englishman's tyre. The German went on to finish second and extend his championship lead to 29 points, while Hamilton eventually retired from the race.
Jordan joined us on Off The Ball and said that he is not surprised that the FAI has taken no action against Rosberg and saw it as a clear racing incident rather than a deliberate attempt to damage Hamilton's race.
"For me it was a clear racing accident. I think Rosberg probably put the nose of his car into a place, where perhaps as team-mates, he probably shouldn't have been. But it certainly wasn't deliberate in my view."

The former head of Jordan F1 was critical of both drivers for their behaviour in recent races and said he would have fined both drivers had he been in charge of Mercedes.
"They have cost the team. Let's be clear. Between Hungary and the race at the weekend, they've cost the team about 40 odd points. It's unacceptable. I'd go mental if I was in charge of that team. I'd fine them and I'd say even the slightest rumour of anything like this happening again and you'll be replaced."
He also described Mercedes' handling of the situation between Hamilton and Rosberg as "weak".
Jordan also contrasted Rosberg, who he says has never been fully embraced in Germany due to his background, with Hamilton who is "British through-and-through".
