Johnson takes charge, but an Irish amateur is taking some of the limelight

Dustin Johnson is surging clear of the rest of the field at the Open Championship, despite the fading light at St Andrews.

The American has picked-up 4 shots today through 10 holes of his second round to climb to 11-under par on the leaderboard.

England's Danny Willett is closest to Johnson after carding a 69 today to get to 9-under at the half-way point, with Luke Donald just another shot.

Irish amateur Paul Dunne has provided one of the stories of the evening. He carded a second consecutive round of 69 to get to 6-under par.
