Andy Lee is Ireland's latest world champion.
The Limerick boxer stopped Matt Korobov in the sixth round to win the WBO Middleweight title in Las Vegas.
Lee stunned his Russian opponent with a right hook, before finishing the fight with a flurry of unanswered punches.
The former star St Francis Boxing Club amateur dedicated the victory to his late mentor Emanuel Steward.
"I am a champion and I want to defend my belt in Ireland and I will fight the best in the world," he said.
"I have to say a thank you to this man, my coach Adam Booth, who has done so much for me in the last couple of years - this title is for him before also for the man who made me Emanual Steward."
"I lived with him for 7-8 years and learned so much from him. He said I would win a world title and tonight I made him true," he added.
