Cian O'Connor helped Ireland to Nations Cup glory this morning in Florida.
O'Connor was last up and produced a double clear to seal victory and claim the prestigious $150,000 four-star contest.
Irish Show Jumping manager Robert Splaine said: “This was an absolutely fantastic job by four very professional riders.
“They all played their part, jumping at least one clear round each and Cian (O’Connor) jumping a double clear.
“Richie’s (Moloney) comeback in the second round was phenomenal and really put it up to the USA. It really was a fantastic win and very positive for the future. I would like to congratulate our four riders and a big thank you must go to the owners of our horses.”
Down's Conor Swail, Shane Sweetnam of Cork and Kilkenny's Richie Moloney all cleared to help Ireland edge host nation USA and third placed Colombia.
