Alex Noren says his eagle on the 18th hole at Wentworth on Sunday included one of the greatest shots of his career.
The Swede picked up his ninth ever win on the European Tour and the first ever event on the newly established Rolex Series.
Noren admitted he struggled on the 18th throughout the weekend and had it in his mind that he would need to be at his best to overcome it.
"I needed revenge," he said ahead of this week's Nordea Masters. "I thought about that hole coming down the stretch. Coming down the stretch on like 16 and 17, I was saying to myself 'I really hope I don't mess up on 18'.
"It's so much sweeter then when you pull a good shot off.
"I rank it as probably one of the best in my career because I'd had trouble around that course before and I've had trouble on that hole.
"I even had a tragic end on my third round, going into the water despite the fact that I was trying to play safe."
Asked what it felt like waking up as champion, he said: "It's unreal, like nothing I could imagine on Sunday morning. It still feels a bit surreal."
