Heavy rain in Southern California has caused Super Bowl LV to be moved, despite the game taking place in 2021.
A new stadium in Los Angeles, set to be home of the LA Rams and LA Chargers was due to host the event, but it has now been moved to Raymond James Stadium, home of Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The stadium in Los Angeles will host the event one year later.
Last year, the Inglewood venue was named as the Super Bowl LI host. It would be the first time the Los Angeles area has hosted the event since 1993 when Dallas Cowboys beat Buffalo Bills.

NFL rules state a stadium must be open for two seasons before it can host the game, the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport revealed on Tuesday. The Los Angeles venue was scheduled to be opened ahead of the 2019 season, but it has now been pushed back to 2020.
Earlier this month, the LA Times revealed construction delays in the stadium were caused by two months of heavy rain in the city. The hole in which the stadium will be built was filled with rainwater, leaving building works at a standstill.
It may be four years away, but the weather can still cause havoc with sporting events.
