American Brooks Koepka won his first major title last weekend when he powered home to clinch the 2017 US Open at Erin Hills in Wisconsin.
Claude Harmon, swing coach to the newly crowned champion, joined Thursday's Off the Ball to discuss Koepka's win.
"Yeah, you know, it's crazy," he said, adding: "I was lucky enough to be on Dustin's (Johnson) team last year when he won so it was pretty much the same whirlwind - other than the fact I didn't go to Vegas with DJ - we went straight from Erin Hills to Vegas so I was glad to get home on Monday!"
Harmon has been working with Koepka since 2013 and was struck by how fast he hit the ball.
"I met Brooks right after the first year here (on Tour) in 2013 and he was living with Peter Uihlein. They were roommates, both playing in Europe, and my Dad and I were working with Peter.
"They were at my club one day playing and Peter asked me after they were finished if I could watch Brooks hit balls and you could just see how much speed the kid had."

"When you see a young player, to make an impact, something has to jump off the charts for you and really the speed that he was able to generate - the speed and the gold swing and the natural ability to swing the golf club at such a high rate of speed - is something you can't really teach. You either have that or you don't," he added.
