Greame McDowell remains in contention for a Top 3 finish at the Dubai Desert Classic after a solid third round.
The former US Open champion finished on 4-under for the day and is 8-under for the tournament heading into Sunday's fourth and final round.
That leaves him within a shot of third.

McDowell was impressive on the front nine, carding four birdies on the 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 7th holes.
The back nine was less consistent with his two birdies on the 10th and 14th, immediately followed by bogeys on the respective next holes.

As a result, the chance of winning is diminishing as he now finds himself seven shots behind leader Sergio Garcia, who has moved onto 15-under overall. Reigning European Tour Golfer of the Year Henrik Stenson is second on 12-under.

Ireland's Paul Dunne is back on 1-under with an eagle on the 13th moving him up the leaderboard and reducing the impact of two bogeys on the previous two holes.
