The Golden State Warriors survived elimination from the NBA Western Conference finals with a 120-111 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder to cut the gap to 3-2 in the best-of-seven series.
Last year's NBA Champions went into the Playoffs as the most successful team in the history of the NBA regular season, winning 73 of their 82 games. They remain on the verge of elimination and must win their final two games to reach the Finals for the second year in a row.
On front of their home fans, the Warriors were leading at the end of each quarter, and had an eight-point lead at half-time.

Despite being on the losing side, Kevin Durant scored 40 points and was followed by team mate Russell Westbrook on 31. MVP Steph Curry also scored 31-points and was the leading scorer for the home side.
Game 6 takes place in Oklahoma on Saturday night, with the home team knowing a win will send them to the NBA Finals, where the Cleveland Cavaliers look like the most likely opponents.
