The Golden State Warriors are NBA Champions for the first time since 1975.
Led by the leagues Most Valuable Player Steph Curry, The California based side came from 2-1 down in the series against the Cleveland Cavaliers to win the final three games and claim the title.
They won the title, in the early hours of this morning, away in Cleveland, courtesy of a 105-97 win. Steph Curry and the player of the series Andre Iguadola both scored 25 points. Lebron James scored scored 32 points for Cleveland, but his personal crusade to bring a national title to Cleveland continues for another year.

The Warriors ended the first quarter with a 13 point lead, leading 28-15. That lead was cut to two points at half time, but Steve Kerr's side powered on at the start of the second half to extend their lead to 73-61 going into the final quarter.
The win sees the Warriors, who started the season as 25/1 outsiders, become one of the most surprising champions in recent memory.
