WATCH: Four seconds can be enough time to win (and lose) a basketball match in Spain

When you think of Real Madrid and Valencia, you would think of battles in the Bernabeu, Mestalla or even in the Champions League final in the Stade de France.

What you would not expect is the two teams meeting on the basketball court in the Spanish League. The top-tier of Spanish basketball also includes an FC Barcelona team.

On Sunday night, the two teams met and were drawing 92-92 with 3.9 seconds remaining on the clock and Valencia in an attacking position. In hindsight, it is easy to say that Valencia scored a basket too quickly to give them a two-point lead.

Real Madrid got the ball back with 1.3 seconds to go before Sergio Llull scored a three-pointer from well inside his own half for the win.

Steph Curry, eat your heart out!
