There were bizarre scenes at the end of the a title fight in America, when the uncle of one of the fighters punched the opponent.
Andre Dirrell was awarded the IBF interim super middleweight title by disqualification, after his opponent Jose Uzcategui, landed some punches after the bell sounded. Dirrell was examined by his medical team, and got back to his feet to hug his opponent at the end of the fight.
Despite winning the title, Dirrell's assistant trainer, and uncle Leon Lawson Jr, still didn't seem satisfied with the outcome.

He struck Uzcategui on the jaw in the aftermath of the contest and police in Maryland are now seeking him in relation to the incident, according to reports.
The sucker-punch triggered fights among the fans, and both fighters were rushed out of the arena after both camps had to be restrained.

Speaking after the fight, Dirrell apologised for his uncle's actions:
"I'm sorry for what my coach has done. My coach is my family, my uncle, and he was worried. He cares for me. He loves me. Please forgive him."
Dirrell's co-headliner Gary Russell Jr also issued an apology, and asked for the public to forgive Dirrell's unlce:
"The Dirrell camp, sometimes emotions build up and take the best of us. Please forgive them."
